Description
The FRA Fundamental Rights Report 2022 aims to provide data and information on important developments in 2021 in the following areas:
- Equality and non-discrimination
- Racism, xenophobia and related intolerance
- Roma integration
- Asylum, visas, migration, borders and integration
- Information society, data protection
- Rights of the child
- Access to justice including rights of crime victims
- Developments in the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

Specially for the 2022 edition, the FRA also prepared a focus chapter on Social rights and equality in the light of the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, to which FRC also contributed.
In the context of the FRA Fundamental Rights Report 2022, FRC also provided key information and analysis on the use of the EU Charter in Belgium, identifying the main national judgements based on the Charter as well as legislative developments influenced by it and mentions of it by the Belgian parliament.
