Do not miss the latest updates from the Stream project!
The project seeks to address interpretative doubts and practical challenges that currently hamper mutual recognition of European Arrest Warrants by advancing the state-of-the-art knowledge on questions raised and solutions adopted by EU and national courts to secure surrender procedures' compliance with relevant criminal justice rules and safeguards.
In this framework, the STREAM consortium set up an Observatory that provides a database presenting the most relevant and latest national case law dealing with the European Arrest Warrant in selected EU Member States as well as those issued by the Court of Justice of the European Union covering all Member States.
The STREAM consortium also set up a Repository storing different resources concerning the Court of Justice of the European Union's relevant case law on the European Arrest Warrant. The repository includes :
- Detailed analytical Case Notes of most recent and important judgments;
- Distilled case summaries that cover key issues related to the relationship between the principle of mutual recognition, protection of fundamental rights, and the rule of law;
- A list of all relevant CJEU case law.
