On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Professor Paul de Hert has been invited by the Association for the United Nations (APNU) to take part in an initiative organized in collaboration with the city of Brussels.
On December 10, on the Brussels Grand Place, some well-known public figures (musicians, actors and human rights defenders) will gather on the balcony of the Brussels City Hall and read together the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Before the reading of the Declaration, a conference will be held during which young people will be invited to call on personalities famous for their commitment to Human Rights. For more information on the conference and registration please see here.
