Dr Amy Weatherburn’s doctoral thesis on conceptualizing labour exploitation in human trafficking law has been featured in the most recent edition of the Juristenkrant. The article outlines the difficulties of tackling human trafficking when there is a lack of clarity as to the meaning and scope of the concepts applied such as exploitation.
