On 17 June 2019, FRC researcher Júlia Zomignani Barboza gave two presentations during the 1st International Conference on Humanitarian Action and Cooperation for Development held at University Fernando Pessoa in Porto. In her first presentation, Júlia explored the possibility of using blockchain solutions to provide digital identities for refugees. During the second presentation, she analysed the legal framework surrounding accountability for child soldiers aged between fifteen and eighteen who commit international crimes and proposed transitional justice as an appropriate way of holding them accountable.
