On Tuesday 17 January 2017, FRC hosted the kick off meeting for a new 2 year EU funded project entitled DESIrE: DEmand for Sexual Exploitation in Europe.
The project aims to generate a better understanding of the impact of sex work legislation on the prevalence of trafficking in human beings.
FRC will be working along side partners from:
- International Victimology Institute Tilburg (INTERVICT), Tilburg University, The Netherlands;
- International Maternal and Child Health (IMCH) Unit, Department of Women’s and Children’s Health, Uppsala University, Sweden;
- Human Trafficking Studies Center (HTSC), Department of Criminology, Warsaw University, Poland;
- Life Quality Improvement Organisation - FLIGHT, Croatia.
