Exciting PhD Opportunity at VUB
The Fundamental Rights Research Centre (FRC) and the Brussels Privacy Hub (BPH) at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) are offering an exciting opportunity for a new PhD student to join their dynamic research community. This position, co-funded by FRC and the Consumer Empowerment Project (CEP) and Euroconsumers, focuses on advancing research in EU consumer rights.
The successful candidate will be at the forefront of research on consumer rights, with a primary focus on publishing and academic contributions. Additional responsibilities include supporting event organisation, participating in research projects, and assisting with the day-to-day operations of both BPH and FRC.
Who Should Apply:
– Recent postgraduate degree holders (within the past three years) from any academic discipline.
– Candidates with a strong academic background, particularly in consumer rights and human rights.
– Fluency in English is required, with additional knowledge of French and Dutch considered a plus.
– While relocation to Brussels is not mandatory, it is encouraged.
