Have You Been a Victim of Online Fraud? We Want to Hear from You!
Online fraud is on the rise, affecting countless individuals across Europe. Victims often encounter significant challenges when seeking justice, from navigating legal processes to accessing adequate support. To address these issues, the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) is conducting research on access to justice for victims of online fraud in Belgium and other EU countries. The Fundamental Rights Research Centre (FRC) is working on this project as the FRANET contractor of FRA in Belgium.
Why Is This Research Important?
By gathering real-life experiences, we aim to identify the barriers victims face and assess the effectiveness of existing support systems. Your insights will help shape recommendations for improved protection and access to justice for those affected by online fraud.
Who Can Participate?
We are looking for:
- Victims of online fraud who have reported their case to the authorities (e.g., banks, police, etc.)
- Individuals willing to share their experiences confidentially (interviews will be anonymous)
How to Participate
We are conducting confidential face-to-face or online interviews to understand what works and what needs to change. Your privacy is our priority, and all information shared will be handled with the utmost confidentiality.
If you or someone you know is interested in participating, please contact us via email at:
