FRC Researcher Presents during Artificial Intelligence Conference

On 13 December 2019, FRC researcher Júlia Zomignani Barboza presented at the 2019 BENELUX conference on Artificial intelligence organised by the European Law Students’ Associations of Belgium Luxembourg and the Netherlands. During her presentation, Júlia talked about the artificial intelligence research conducted in the context of the Data Protection in Humanitarian Action project. She further presented the paper ‘Aid and AI: the challenge of reconciling humanitarian principles and data protection’, which she co-authored with LSTS researchers Lina Jasmontaite and Laurence Diver (forthcoming in 2020).
