FRC Researchers (Prof. Paul de Hert, Cihan Parlar and Juraj Sajfert) have recently published a new article entitled ”The Cybercrime Convention Committee’s 2017 Guidance Note on Production Orders: Unilateralist transborder access to electronic evidence promoted via soft law” in the Computer Law & Security Review. The article is a recent contribution to the field of electronic evidence and transborder access to data by law enforcement.
The paper is closely linked to the work of the LIVE_FOR project which aims to boost the use and application of Directive 2014/14/EU concerning the European Investigation Order (EIO) in criminal matters, especially in the context of digital evidence located in the cloud.
