FRC Member Irene Wieczorek participated on the 25th and 26th of April as invited speaker to the Conference The Needed Balances of EU Criminal Law: Past, Present and Future organised by ECLAN (European Criminal Law Academic Network) which celebrated its 10th Anniversary. The conference included more than 40 speakers among which Commissioner Jurova, and the Belgian Minister of Justice as well as the top academics in the field of EU Criminal Law. Irene gave a speech titled “The Application of the Subsidiarity principle in the criminal field” the first day in the plenary session.
