The EU Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) has just published a comparative report on presumption of innocence and related rights across the EU Member States, as well as the country report for Belgium.
As the national contractor for the FRA in Belgium, FRC supervised the fieldwork research done in preparation of these important reports that reported on the application of certain aspects of the right to be presumed innocent in criminal proceedings and the fundamental rights implications for the persons concerned, in compliance with Directive 2016/343/EU.
